“Every recovery has a reason. Our job is to uncover it - not just to get people pain-free, but to rebuild them stronger and smarter than before.”

With more than a decade of experience across musculoskeletal medicine, James has become one of the East Midlands’ most trusted physiotherapists for complex and consultant-referred cases.

He works closely with leading orthopaedic and pain consultants across Spire Healthcare and Circle Health Group, often serving as the link between surgical and non-surgical care. His reputation for precision-led rehabilitation and diagnostic accuracy has made him a go-to clinician for patients navigating challenging, persistent pain or post-operative recovery.

James holds advanced postgraduate training in injection therapy, spinal manipulation, and shockwave therapy, and has established one of the largest physiotherapy-led injection clinics in the East Midlands - offering cutting-edge treatments such as Arthrosamid®, hyaluronic acid, and corticosteroid injections.

As Fit2Go’s Co-Founder, James has also driven the development of BodyScreen™, an industry-leading injury-risk screening system that integrates health, lifestyle, and biomechanical data to map how the body truly performs. It’s used by elite athletes, clinical specialists, and rehabilitation teams seeking measurable insight into injury risk and recovery potential.

“Physiotherapy isn’t just treatment - it’s problem-solving. You have to see patterns others miss and design a plan that fits not just the injury, but the individual.”

With more than 20 years of experience across musculoskeletal medicine and professional sport, Brodie Howatson is widely regarded in the industry as a go-to specialist for spinal, vestibular, and TMJ-related conditions.

A former physiotherapist for West Ham United, Brodie has built a career on precision diagnostics and evidence-led rehabilitation - the kind trusted by consultants and professional athletes alike. Many medical specialists continue to refer to him for his clinical insight and second opinions on complex or unresolved cases.

Brodie’s hybrid expertise - spanning vestibular rehabilitation, spinal mechanics, TMJ dysfunction, and traditional MSK practice - sets him apart in private physiotherapy. He’s uniquely positioned to treat patients whose pain spans multiple systems, understanding how the body, balance, and movement all interconnect.

Holding a Master’s in Manual Therapy (2015) and full AACP acupuncture certification, Brodie combines traditional manual skills with modern modalities including shockwave therapy and TECAR therapy. His holistic and methodical approach has led to outstanding results for patients from grassroots sport through to elite competition.
