We provide assessment and treatment for children and young people under 16, following UK safeguarding and Gillick/Fraser competence guidance.

  • Data collected: Child’s name, date of birth, parent/guardian contact details, relevant medical notes, and safeguarding records.

  • How it’s used: To provide treatment, manage appointments, liaise with parents and health professionals, and fulfil legal obligations.

  • Sharing: Only with authorised professionals or safeguarding bodies where appropriate or required by law.

  • Retention: Children’s records are kept until the child’s 25th birthday or 8 years after last contact, whichever is later.

  • Rights: Parents can act on a child’s behalf until the child is mature enough to manage their own information.
