Fit2Go Named Physiotherapy Clinic of the Year 2026

Updated: Apr 8

Fit2Go Physiotherapy Clinic of the Year 2026 Winner

We're genuinely a bit lost for words on this one.

Fit2Go has been named Physiotherapy Clinic of the Year 2026 at the GHP Healthcare & Pharmaceutical Awards - our second major recognition in consecutive years, following the Most Innovative Physiotherapy Clinic 2025 award for our pioneering BodyScreen™ system. It still doesn’t feel quite real, and it certainly wouldn’t have happened without every single person who makes this clinic what it is.

Fit2Go physiotherapy clinic: built from the ground up

When Brodie Howatson and James Tomlinson founded Fit2Go, the vision was always to build a clinic that could deliver the very best care across the entire musculoskeletal spectrum - not just one niche, but everything from acute sports injuries to chronic pain, post-surgical rehabilitation to injury prevention. That vision has grown into two clinics across West Bridgford and East Leake, a team of 14 specialist clinicians and growing, and a service that has already welcomed over 400 new patients in 2026 alone.

Last year, our clinicians collectively diagnosed over 200 different conditions - a reflection of the breadth and depth of what walks through our doors every day.

A team you won’t find anywhere else

What makes Fit2Go special starts and ends with the people. Every clinician on our team brings a genuine sub-specialism and years of experience at the highest levels of their field.

Niall Stevens, our Head of Sports, has spent almost a decade working with Premier League and Champions League footballers at Nottingham Forest and Leicester City.

Scott Poundall, our Senior Osteopath, spent 14 years as lead therapist for Nottingham Panthers, building their physical therapy department from the ground up.

Lucy Thompson cut her teeth with Leicester Tigers Rugby Union; bringing that elite-level sports rehabilitation expertise to Fit2Go, where she now also serves as a Director.

Brodie Howatson is one of the region’s most experienced advanced practice physiotherapists, bringing a rare combination of expertise in vestibular rehabilitation and complex spinal conditions. His background spans professional sport and he regularly works with Team GB athletes and professional athletes across the UK.

Charlie Morris brings over 26 years of clinical experience, holding an MSc in Neuromusculoskeletal Physiotherapy and is a member of the MACP, a distinction held by fewer than two percent of UK physiotherapists.

It’s a team with consultant surgeons in hip, knee, spinal, and shoulder surgery working alongside physiotherapists, osteopaths, sports rehabilitators, a women’s health specialist, a dietician and personal trainers - all collaborating under one roof.

Technology that changes outcomes

We’ve always believed that the technology used to diagnose, treat and monitor patients in elite sport should be available to everyone - not just those with a Premier League contract. Our clinics are equipped with VALD Performance systems including ForceDecks, NordBord and HumanTrak, AI-powered Clarius ultrasound imaging, Tecar Therapy, Shockwave Therapy and Footscan gait analysis. These tools give our clinicians objective, measurable data at every stage of a patient’s journey, and they’re a big part of why professional sports teams, current Team GB Olympians and leading consultants at Spire Nottingham and The Park Hospital trust us with their most complex cases.

James leads one of the most prominent physiotherapy-led injection clinics in the Midlands, offering ultrasound-guided corticosteroid, hyaluronic acid and Arthrosamid® hydrogel treatments - Fit2Go was the first clinic in the East Midlands to introduce Arthrosamid for knee osteoarthritis, and we now receive referrals from across the country.

At the centre of our approach is BodyScreen™, the proprietary screening system that earned us the 2025 innovation award. It analyses 28 areas of the body across health, lifestyle and biomechanical factors to predict and prevent injuries before they happen. It’s the system we believe will one day change how the UK approaches injury prevention - and we’re proud that other clinics around the country are now adopting it too.

The treatment range to match

From hands-on manual therapy, acupuncture and shockwave through to specialist injection therapy, vestibular rehabilitation, women’s health, oncology physiotherapy, performance conditioning, tailored medication plans and RTT hypnotherapy - the breadth of what we offer means patients rarely need to go anywhere else.

That was always the goal: a genuine one-stop destination where diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation and prevention all sit together seamlessly.

What it really means

This award belongs to every patient who has trusted us, every clinician who brings their best every day, and to the belief that world-class physiotherapy shouldn’t be reserved for the elite - it should be available on your doorstep in Nottingham.

We’re proud, we’re grateful, and honestly - we’re just getting started.

Book an appointment at our West Bridgford or East Leake clinic and experience award-winning physiotherapy for yourself.
