Scott is an experienced Osteopath specialising in human movement and the treatment and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal pain and injury

 

Having started his career as a lead therapist for a the Nottingham Panthers ice hockey team, he then took on further studies to become an osteopath. Once graduating he went on to work in athletics working with international 100 and 200m sprinters to support their training and manage their injuries. During his time in athletics it also enabled him to work with Olympic sprinters, as well as international football and rugby plays, some of which were house hold names competing for England. Since then he has gone on to work with elite and professional athletes form a variety of different sports, whilst building up a private practice delivering the same level of service to the general public. Alongside this he also work in education, teaching osteopathy at an undergraduate level and manual therapy skills to the wider healthcare community.

He combines an evidence based, data driven and holistic approach to treat each patient on an individual case by base basis to achieve their specific needs and desired outcomes.

Sports have very much been a part of his life since a young age. He played basketball through mine teenage years at national level, and still continues to play now for the over 40s masters England team. He also had a brief stint as a progressional boxer in his 20s, in which he trained and sparred with many world champions under the guidance of a hall of fame coach.

Away from work and sports, He is very much a family orientated person. He enjoys spend time with his partner and son, taking the dog out for walks, going out for food and spending time with friends and other family members.
