MORE PLEASE ...

In 2019, I qualified as an Acupuncturist with the AACP (Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists) in order to help patients manage symptoms associated with life limiting conditions including complex pain. As a trusted practitioner, I received referrals from pain clinics to help manage this debilitating symptom as patients are often very keen to have an alternative to taking strong medications with the unwanted side effects this can entail. I have had some great success treating those struggling with
breathlessness, providing them with self-management techniques alongside acupuncture to minimise the distress associated. Anxiety and sleep disorders arising from these conditions can also be treated with acupuncture along with functional disorders like loss of sensation in hands and feet from Chemo Induced Peripheral Neuropathy
(CIPN) following Chemotherapy treatment. I also aim to continue to provide quality specialist oncological treatment options, especially for those undergoing breast surgery to manage scars in some additional training I am due to complete in September.

In my spare time I enjoy being physically active, walking my dog Bramble, running with friends and swimming. I love travelling and have been very lucky to be able to travel to some amazing places including Africa, Australia, and Europe, passing this zest for exploration and travel onto my children.
